Dr. Thai Yeng was educated in NSW, Australia, for his primary and high school years, and graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 1994.
Dr. Thai Yeng earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2000, his Master of Dental Science (MDentSci) in 2002, his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in 2007, and his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2023.
In 2008, he received membership from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS) (endodontics), followed by his membership from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow (MRCPS) in 2009. As well as managing a successful private practice and maintaining his scholarly activities, Dr. Thai Yeng was awarded fellowships by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, FDSRCPS (Glasgow) in 2010, The Royal College of Surgeons, FDSRCS (Edinburgh) in 2013, and the Royal College of Surgeons, FDSRCS (England) in 2019.
Dr. Thai Yeng completed his endodontic specialty training from the University of Melbourne Dental School in 2007 and registered with the Dental Board of Australia as an Endodontist in 2008. Furthermore, he successfully defended his PhD thesis about dental trauma and medical education, which included twelve peer-reviewed journal articles, and the thirteenth paper appeared soon after he received the PhD from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
